WHAT IS A TSCM
A T.S.C.M makes it possible to verify the effective absence of any electronic devices for capturing
sounds, images or any strategic and sensitive commercial data that can reach the brand image of a
company or that of its managers both in their private and professional lives. The purpose of this control is
the search, detection and localisation of all clandestine listening devices and surveillance systems.
WHAT IS INSPECTED DURING THE TSCM ?
During a T.S.C.M. we are looking for equipment capable of recording and transmitting voice or image.
These devices can be hidden in pens, computer mice, integrated into different electrical outlets, office
phones, computers, printers, furniture, document grinders, etc.
WHERE DOES THE TSCM TAKE PLACE ?
OFFICES: From the President, the Management, the Assistants and the conference rooms, they receive
special attention whatever the place. (Buildings, Cars, Planes, Boats …)
COMMON PARTS: Sanitary facilities and elevators, coffee corners and other common areas must be
inspected, often sensitive conversations take place in these places.
THE EQUIPMENT USED
Spectrum analyser, Magnetic field analyser, Non-linear junction detection, Reflectometer, Thermal
camera, Endoscope, I.R detector, Ultrason detector, etc.
HOW AND WHEN TO OPERATE ?
The operation is organised and carried out jointly with the site security manager.
The T.S.C.M depends on the configuration of the building, the rooms to be controlled.
The T.S.C.M time slot: Evening, night or weekend are the most favourable times. Mainly when staff have
left the premises.
